PRIDE Youth Programs members are encouraged to be part of a local PRIDE Team! Together, PRIDE Youth Team members impact each other and the community in basic and creative ways. They organize, meet, have fun and learn a lot along the way. They pledge to be drug-free and deliver a strong no-use message to their peers and community. The programs they use focus on the four philosophies of PRIDE Youth Programs: Youth should be drug-free; Youth should develop an overall healthy lifestyle; Youth are resources; and A positive approach to drug prevention works! Parent Action Teams also are a vital part of the PRIDE objective. Parents and other adults in the community provide mentoring, support and transportation for PRIDE youth. "Parents ... we couldn't do it without you!"
